The Opal Effect materials are available in six shade gradations. Starting with Opal Effect 1, with naturally enhanced opalescence and simultaneous high translucency, the brightness value between Opal Effect 2 and Opal Effect 4 is continuously increased. Opal Effect 5 then demonstrates the typical opal shade. The Opal Effect violet material is used to reduce the brightness value in the incisal area.

IPS e.max ZirCAD LT are pre-shaded, monochromatic zirconium oxide blocks suitable for use in the dental laboratory and the dental practice. The high strength of 1.200 Mpa* allows low wall thickness (posterior crowns 0.6mm, anterior crowns 0.4mm) and tooth-preserving preparation. After wet processing in the PrograMill One, the restorations are sintered e.g. Programat CS4. For glazing, the fluorescent IPS e.max CAD Crystall/Glaze Paste Fluo is available. Optionally, the restorations can be characterized using IPS e.max CAD Crystall/Shades and Stains. IPS e.max ZirCAD restorations are cemented with e.g. SpeedCEM Plus.
